Videos pay for about 3 seconds then they stop!?

I was watching youtube videos they work perfectly fine normaly, then all of a sudden they stop playing after 3 seconds, so i played a video in windows media player and it played perfectly fine, so i tried myspace videos too and it still didn't work...is it firefox? or is my computer just going crazy!?

strange. did you recently turn your computer off and have it install updates?





i usually put mine on hiberbate, but last night i actually turned it off so it could install 12 updates (vista)





turned it on today and yup. stops after 3 seconds and then won't play anymore.. and it's 100% dled.. and the play button doesn't work either.. if you move the bar it plays another 3 seconds then stops again.

try shutting down and starting windows a few times.





i took a hour trip, powered on, and everything is fine now...
