How many DVD's do you own? And how many videos do you own? We were going through them last night and I cant believe we have over 500 videos and around 150 + DVD's. I think this is so ridiculous, and hey maybe its time to get a video store! lol. Who else has a high quanity of movies? Maybe we should get together!

I have over 1000 DVD's. hey, when you pay $2 for 4 movies bootlegged onto a disc in Iraq because they don't have copyright laws, you collect a lot!
Reply:Over time I've reduced my stock by donating the ones I don't completely love to the library. Of course I was VHS high but that was just the times. Back when VHS was really on sale because DVD technology was being brought in. Now I'm down to somewhere around 20 VHS and 3 DVD's.
Opening a small business isn't a bad idea, just think about the fact that you will probably need to maintain multiple copies of everything you have.

Reply:I used to have over 300 VHS tapes but I sold most of them at a garage sale. The sell fast! At the same sale I sold my original star wars boxed set (not the special editions) I still regret doing that.
I have about 100 DVDs.
Reply:I lost count after 400 VHS, and my wife started replacing the VHS with DVD, so I'm really clueless at the moment.
Oh, by the way, don't forget to count all the Music CD's and cassettes, if you still have any. :D
