Well I saw that it says you can buy videos from iTunes and put them on your iPod, but I was wondering, is it only purchased videos you can put on. I have various video files on my computer, that I would be interested in putting on my iPod, would I able to do that?

Many thanks.

Sure you can. But you need a software to convert the various video formats (like DVD, vob, DivX, XviD, MOV, rm, rmvb, MPEG, WMV, AV...) to ipod mp4 format, then you can import the converted videos onto ipod through itunes. Try out the ipod converter suite which converts almost all video formats and supports the latest ipod video nano and ipod touch.

Reply:The ipod that you talk about is the ipod Classic. The videos that a ipod can play must be in mpeg-4 format or mpg, so basically any format that Quicktime can play so can your ipod.

There are various converters that can do the job but i use Kingdia Video converter which you can download here

. Also you can download videos off the internet and onto your ipod. I recently made a instructual video which you can find here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt70_DruF...

Have fun
Reply:you can put any video you have, but you have to convert it to mpeg4. I recommend paying for one, as the freeware ones are bad quality and the trial ones only convert about 5 minutes
