ok so i wanna upload some of my videos of my son on the net sumwhere so i can show other family and friends who live overseas etc... ive tried Picasa, YouTube, Myspace etc but they keep saying the videos are too big... they dont go for very long, maybe like 2-3mins! I have a Canon SLR Digital camera and im thinking maybe coz of the resolution or watever?? i dunno! does anyone know where else i can put heaps of videos that are big or long? any help please....

ok this is a common mistake... If you havn't already then try using "Windows movie maker" and save "save as video" or somthing close to that this will let you post on youtube mysace im unsure because it has a very small video allowensy...

Reply:You can upload it to file hosting server like rapidshare.com or megaupload.com, it support up to 99MB per file.
But, your family cannot view the video online, they must download it to their computer and view it there.
Or you can use video editing software like Window Movie Maker and make your video smaller for web delivery.
Reply:Try to convert the format to flv. Your files are probably uncompressed avi's, which tend to be huge. Just google search a avi flv converter
Reply:compress your file using a compression prog. like winzip
