My ipod video wont play videos anymore?

Ok so ive had an ipod video for almost a year now and it now wont play videos anymore. they play fine on the computer but not on the ipod just a black screen that wont go away unless i reset it... Ive restored it 3 times now but still wont work...what do i do im so confused and really want to watch the videos on here bad.

try to update the software on your ipod after restoring it. if that doesn't work, try calling tech support.
Reply:Make sure that TV Out is set to Off and wide-screen is turned off in the Video Settings screen.

Reply:try this: go to add/remove programs and select iTunes from the support info that appears select REPAIR. allow iTunes ot reinstall and do as it prompts you to. when that's done, open iTunes and go to HELP in the upper tool bar %26gt; select check for updates %26gt; update if need be. meanwhile on your iPod, toggle the hold switch back and forth a few times (across from headphone jack) then hold the center button and the menu button down at exactly the same time till a small apple appears on the screen.





now try to connect it to your computer and if it prompts you to update it do so. see if you get video playback now!! if not it may be the video files themselves - i doubt it tho if they play on the computer. are you sure they are iin iPod format and what conversion software are you using?? if you email me and let me know more i can probably help you with this!!
