To make myself clear- I am not looking to have my videos featured on you tube. What I'm asking is how to make a video on the first page of a search you do on youtube. Like if you put in hotdog as a search, how to make it so your 'hotdog' video is on the first page? It doesn't seem to occur in any particular order on youtube. Sometimes videos that were just added come up first and sometimes older videos come up first even if they don't have any views. Anyone know?

you can adjust the order, its normaly in 'amount of views' or 'date added'

If someone searches for 'hotdog' your video can be seen in the first page if you have added many 'hotdog' words in your Title, Description and Tags.
Example :
Title - My favourite hotdog - blah blah hotdog
Description - I love hotdog because hotdog is blah and hotdog is not blah blah
Tags - hotdog hotdogs hot dog dogs

Like i said it is possible..try it out. If you make any changes to your video details it will take about 1 day to take effect in youtube
