Putting videos on to ipod?

i know how to put videos on to my ipod, but the troubble is i cant find a decent video converter.





please . . . i need a video converter that can convert almost any video format to ipod/mp4.


the main formats i want is (.mkv, .avi, .flv, .vob and may more)





if anyone could tell me a link to downoad it that would be helpful.
