Horse videos?

I have been looking for horse videos online. Does anyone know where to get any? ive been looking but all cost money. Does anyone have videos? I want to make a video with effects but no video to do it with.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help..You may have to go onto you tube and ask people if you can use there videos. That way you won't be just taking them, they will be copyrighted, and you can choose exactly what you want. Good Luck!

What type of video are you making?





Edit: I wish I could help you, but my horse isn't a barrel racer neither is any of the horses that are at the barn. I have a video of a horse trotting, then another of her cantering (those two are REALLY short videos....maybe 10 seconds), then I have one of my horse trotting, but none are that good of quality. I have others of friends riding horses but I don't think they'd want me to send that video to anyone they don't know.


If you want you can see those videos, I believe I have them on this comp and not the other one, let me know and I'll give ya the links. And if you like them I'll send you the ones you like (as long as you cut out the voices haha)

Reply:I'm sorry, but I don't think anyone's going to give you a video, more than likely they want to make it themselves. I have millions, of my horses running, competing, etc. But I don't want them claimed that they were created by anyone else. =[


I agree with what is said above, go on www.youtube.com, and see what's there, make sure it's ok with the owner of the video though. =]

Reply:I own and operate an equine videography company. Nothing irritates me more than seeing OUR video's on utube with no byline stating who shot the video. I have let it slide for the past 2 years, but this year will further impart to the confused consumer that it is copyright infringement, to rip or duplicate any video without express,written consent of the producer...and it is punishable by law. This is not a "hobby", it is a business with alot of expenses incurred by myself. I dont appreciate harry horse owner, copying my videos, or claiming credit for shooting them or editing them! camera's cost 8 - 10K each, and that is just the tip of the iceburg! If i were you, I would save up the 40-50$ and buy a useful training video, to get you through the winter, or contact a show video company and see if you can purchase footage and a release to create your edited video..
