I'm thinking about buying a laptop with a S-Video output. I have a question about the S-Video output. Would it allow me to watch videos from my laptop on TV? Also, will i be able to receive audio from my laptop to my TV. In other words, does S-Video mean that i will only be able to see it and not hear it?

You will have to have a separate audio cable. S-video doesn't carry audio signals.
