If i was to watch videos on youtube
would that be classified as stealing?. (by "videos" i mean the videos like hannah montana, digimon, pokemon, the simpsons ... those kind of videos)
Youtube Videos stealing or not stealing?
no its not stealin in ur part b/c someone else put it there. ur jus someone who happened to find it and watch it for free. most of the time if some1 stole a video the company takes it off but i wouldnt worry about it b/c its not stealin on ur part.
Reply:I don't think that it can be called stealing. But I don't think you'll find full movies on Youtube.
Reply:No, I don't believe it would be called stealing.
It's true that these videos are often cut up in segments to prevent them from being taken down from Youtube, because they often are, but simply watching them is not stealing.
While I don't believe that uploading television shows on Youtube is technically allowed, sometimes it actually helps along a show. I wouldn't have started watching some television shows if I hadn't first watched a few episodes on Youtube.
But to answer your question: No, it's not stealing.
Reply:No becasue you are just watching them not taking credit for uploading the videos
Reply:more a problem for the uploader and youtube itself. i wouldn't worry
some major tv/film companies have complained to youtube... while others work in co-operation with youtube, bbc is one..
just sour grapes as people are replacing tv with watching videos on youtube in some cases.
Reply:Look kid, I hardly think that the cops are going to burst into your house, drag you out kicking and screaming, and put you in the electric chair because you watched The Simpsons on youtube.
It's not stealing. These companies get millions of dollars in advertising revenues, and despite the lawsuits flinging around the media at the moment, they're not losing a lot of money from it.
You're not doing anything wrong, so happy watching! :)
Reply:Youtube videos aren't stealing because mostly everything is just clips or short little movies that people made up.
Reply:No of course not, watch as many as you like.
Reply:No because they published them on the internet for other people to watch =]]
Reply:no
