I need to get a few NBA videos. I tried searching but it mostly said nba.com and that there were downloads there but the videos I found were wmp (or was it flash?) videos that I couldn't download. I'm making a video for a self-interest project %26gt;:O

Something to convert videos and stuff?
I just got a new video iPod. I want software that is free. (emphasis) can get videos of youtube and also converts video formats to itunes formats. A friend said about this vixy.net thing, but it has worked for 3 out of quite a few videos. I also found a free converter, but unless you buy it, it will put its logo in the centre of converted videos
P.S. I don't understand bit rate and frame blah blah blah. I just want something free and easy to use and also free

Alright, i have a computer with a little slot to put videos into, and then it says you can turn your videos into dvds. I put a video into the computer, and nothing happens, ie. the computer doesnt know somethings in there. Whats a program that might assist in this, or how do i work it?
By the videos, just to note, i mean VHS like disney, as an example.

thats a very unusual machine if it takes vhs tapes, but the principal is that if you are capturing from that sort of device its through a video capture card. You will have one of these installed on your pc if its designed to capture from the slot you describe, so what you need to do is (a) find out if there's software for it installed on yr machine, and (b) learn how to use it, or, if there is no software for it (you cant find an application that captures from the vhs tapes) thn you need to identify what sort of capture card it is and download the relevant applications from the manufacturers web site.
To do this youy could use a program like cpu-z or belarc advisor. run one of these then read the report. it should tell you what it is. once you know, get the software and you should be in business.

How do i put videos on a psp?
so i got the new slim psp and i put music in it. but i tried putting in music videos and i converted them to mp4. then i plugged in my slim psp to my pc with a usb cable and a box popped. i clicked on the "open files" option and i saw the folders i had ( music folder, psp folder, WMPinfo folder). dragging the converted videos to the music folder didnt work so i tried looking for the video folder but there was none there. so i tried dragging my video to the psp folder but it didnt work and just took up space. there is no folder in my psp for videos and when i tried psp video 9 it didnt work either. i tried to click on "copy to device" but nothing happened. help!

Playing Videos???
My computer is not playing any type of videos from any site. I've tried about 20 different sites and at least 100 different videos. I've tried about 3 kinds of video players...windows media, quicktime, and real player. Most of the videos won't even buffer and the ones that do will play for about 3-5 seconds and then just stop. Does anyone know why my computer is doing this and how can i fix it?

you might need a better graphics card...or your memory might not be big enough to hold the file. Compare your ram to the specifications of the video players.

IPod Videos on 160 gb device?
I want to buy a video iPod. The prices have come down as Apple has come out with newer models like the iTouch.
Here's my issue: When i look at capabilities of the iPod it tells me all the formats of videos that it will play. I am clueless as to what these formats mean. I'd like to load some of my DVD's that I have onto my iPod. If I load the DVD onto my computer, will I be able to transfer the video from the DVD to the iPod or do I need to purchase them from iTunes?
I know that for music I can use just about any mp3...but I don't really think I need an iPod just for music as I could probably get a cheaper mp3 player that could do me just fine.
If anyone has any information on transferring videos to an iPod it would be greatly appreciated.

Music Videos on iPod?
I recently recieved an iPod video for christmas. When I tried to put a music video on, I can't figure out how to get it out of the "movies" part of the iPod and on to the "music videos" part. There are only 3 sections under my iPod on iTunes (music, movies, tv shows), so I'm having trouble with putting it onto music video's.

Playing videos from my camera on my computer?
I have the Kodak V1253 camera, which has really rhigh video quality. My computer apparently can't handle it. Or quicktime can't, I don't know. Is there any program or way to get these videos to play on my computer? Would burning the video to a dvd, then playing the dvd work? The videos will play, they're just slowed down or jumpy.

i had got this prob for ages. now its solved. so i put this coz i think it s gonna help ful to u.
1) to download the videos just go to
www.youtubex.com and download the videos in FLV format
(you can rename before save the vid to your pc. otherwise it s gonaa save as "get video". )
2) now convert your videos to WMV by using this software

just download this software and choose the flv file as input file. chosse "to convert AVI format" and convert then.its just simple

Paranormal videos?
Let's say I captured a paranormal video with unexplainable whatever and I wanted you guys to look at it. I'd send it to you via e-mail, but the file is too large so then I'd upload it to YouTube and give you the link. My question is, why do people on here in this section bash YouTube videos? I see people post paranormal videos and people are all like "oh youtube, must be fake." Why do you just assume?
P.S.
I'm making a paranormal video tonight because the door across from my room keeps opening on it's own and it's near no vents or anything, and the hinges are securely fastened so I don't know why it's doing that. Thought I'd film it. Camcorder's pretty old. It still uses the mini dv tapes lol.

I think it's good for you to do this for your own peace of mind. Forget the other people. Or are you "hoping" something will happen? (You don't want to hope for that!) (esp. not in your bedroom). Doesn't your door have a latch on it..or close securely where you'd have to turn the knob? If the knob is closed securely ...then I would wonder too why it's opening. But if it doesn't close good ...then it's probably something else. If you think a spirit or someone is trying to get it...put something in front of the door..even maybe a small table with bells or something that will make a noise if the door opens. That way you'll wake up if it really opens. You can take a video of this...but everybody else will believe that there was someone on the other side of the door that you knew about (or didn't know about ) opening the door. (like your brother or sister)(or dog) There's just no way you can prove it to others. Sorry.

Videotaping a door opening does nothing for me. Neither do doors that move on their hinges. There are several things that can cause a door to appear to open by itself and it is easy to find the cause.
If you want to post an interesting video, videotape the door opening by itself and then show how you discover the natural cause.

Did you consider that wind outside might generate a pressure gradient between two sides of your house, and leaks through windows/doors could allow the door to see this pressure gradient and be pushed open accordingly?

Reply:My guess is the door is opening and closing due to changing airpressure. This is the case all over my house.
Its my understanding that ghosts can walk through walls and don't need to open and close doors.
edit: also, most youtube paranormal videos are either pretty obvious fakes, or videos of something non-paranormal. The source of the video is unknown (even if they state it, they could be lying) and therefore, its easier to assume its a fake than to do laborious investigation only to find out that it was part of joke, prank, or something else.
For example, there is one polterguiest video ive seen posted here a dozen times. The most recent post I saw showed more of the video. In the video, they show the person dropping the camera. In other words, the video is meant to be a POV shot, not from the actual camera. This indicated that the video being shown as proof of poltergeists was actually an edited peice intended to be a fictional video.
I have seen several other fictional peices being displayed on youtube as evidence of paranormal also.

You can take a video of this...but everybody else will believe that there was someone on the other side of the door that you knew about (or didn't know about ) opening the door. (like your brother or sister)(or dog) There's just no way you can prove it to others. Sorry.
Reply:I don't think it's wise to discredit all You Tube videos. At the same time, there are thousands of fake videos out there. This is especially the case when it comes to things concerning the paranormal.
Videotaping a door opening does nothing for me. Neither do doors that move on their hinges. There are several things that can cause a door to appear to open by itself and it is easy to find the cause.
If you want to post an interesting video, videotape the door opening by itself and then show how you discover the natural cause.

Did you consider that wind outside might generate a pressure gradient between two sides of your house, and leaks through windows/doors could allow the door to see this pressure gradient and be pushed open accordingly?

Reply:My guess is the door is opening and closing due to changing airpressure. This is the case all over my house.
Its my understanding that ghosts can walk through walls and don't need to open and close doors.
edit: also, most youtube paranormal videos are either pretty obvious fakes, or videos of something non-paranormal. The source of the video is unknown (even if they state it, they could be lying) and therefore, its easier to assume its a fake than to do laborious investigation only to find out that it was part of joke, prank, or something else.
For example, there is one polterguiest video ive seen posted here a dozen times. The most recent post I saw showed more of the video. In the video, they show the person dropping the camera. In other words, the video is meant to be a POV shot, not from the actual camera. This indicated that the video being shown as proof of poltergeists was actually an edited peice intended to be a fictional video.
I have seen several other fictional peices being displayed on youtube as evidence of paranormal also.

I have a memory stick pro duo, and the way i follow the steps is go to Limewire and download the file, but the "VIDEO" folder i made isn't showing up, where is it suppost to be, did i do soemthing wrong. How can I put videos in my new iPod?
I just brought the 4 GB one, those ones that are the iPod Nano and have video (BTW... I brought it from my college savings and that sucks, lol) anyways! I have some videos I download from Limewire and I have them in iTunes and I was trying to put them in the iPod but it wouldn't let me. Cannot watch music videos?
I am using windows XP, when I try and watch music videos I am not able to. I have allowed *launch.yahoo.com, *music.yahoo.com, launch.yahoo.com, launchtoday.launch.music.yaoo.com, mv.us.music.yahoo.com %26amp; mvp.music.yaoo.com to my allowed websites.Once I select a video another smaller window appears, I can see the commerical but after that I cannot see or hear the music video. I can not watch videos from all websites properly on my PC. Either I hear a sound running but the video stops, or I see the video cracked . Please give me definite answers that come out of ur own experience. Why wont my videos upload??? [grrr!!]?
i have a kodak c633 camera with kodak easyshare software. All the pictures i take upload just fine. Its just the videos. When i try to transfer the videos, the screenshot on the computer shows up as a grey rectangle with a zig zagged line down the middle, meaning that the video is broken. When i watch the video on the camera, it's just fine. I've tried everything possible to upload the videos and now im just super frustrated. I dont know what to do anymore. please help.

Who wants to find videos on the 50th page, you know? I don't think they're in the order of upload or alphabetical though so I don't think that's the answer. Media center home videos...how do I change dvr-ms format for free to upload my videos to utube? Etc?

is there somewhere I can download music videos of the christian singer Carman? I want to watch the videos everyone claims are so wrong. It seems everytime i put "Carman christian singer" I get biography, offers to buy the cds, concert times but no videos EVER. I tried limewire and found one from one host which took me an hour to download. Videos from Veoh can be downloaded with the Veoh TV, but the problem is the file size of the videos are big... sometimes even up to hundreds of MB! The size r too big + it takes longer time to dwld!!! (I know the quality is very good though, incomparable to others...)

I have some videos on my iPod Touch that I want to actually watch on my AVIC D3, so what I want to do is know how to run videos (or podcasts) that I've downloaded from iTunes onto my iPod directly to the D3. I've clicked on the "videos" icon and the D3 said that it should be controlled directly from the iPod. I hear the sound of the video coming from the D3 through my speakers, but I cannot see any picture.

when i go to yahoo videos and try to play the video it says i have to save it. i save the video and it takes up memory but doesnt show up in the video section where i saved it. is there a way to find it to watch it or delete it without formatting and deleting all my psp data?

i can upload videos onto my itunes just fine but then when i try to connect my ipod it says something like "these videos cannot be used on this specific ipod" and so i figured out that i had to convert them. so i right-click and clicked "convert into ipod/iphone" or something like that. and when i do, it is able to upload the video onto my ipod, BUT NOW WITHOUT THE SOUND! %26gt;:( im so frustrated, i dont understand why it does that :( does this happen to anyone else? how do i get video on my ipod, WITH the sound too haha?

Reply:Don't use iTunes to convert video for iPod, because iTunes cannot convert muxed video (muxed video means the audio and video are on the same track), muxed video converted by iTunes will lose sound. You can learn more about the problem from apple official document

How do I upload videos on youtube and have it broadcasted?
I tried to upload a video on youtube. It was a video I made. Nothing was wrong with the video. I tried uploading it and every time i do it, it keeps telling me its rejected... Why does this keep happening??? How does this stop? I saw millions of gang related, drug relating, graphic, sexual, inappropriate and copyrighted videos that was able to get broadcasted and got many hits without ever being removed. How did all those other people get them on? The video Im trying to upload is 100 percent appropriate with non of that stuff on there. I still have no videos broadcasted... Please help me!!!

I'm thinking about buying a laptop with a S-Video output. I have a question about the S-Video output. Would it allow me to watch videos from my laptop on TV? i just recieved a very nice computer complete with a CD burner.
For christmas i also recieved a "FLIP video" camera. I can get the videos to my computer just fine, but is there anyway i can get those videos to a disc? I have some CD-RW's and DVD+RW discs. Ultimatly i would like to put the videos on the disc and watch them on the home DVD player..
WHY does this have to be soooo difficult?? VCR's were NOT this hard...LOL. You could plug the RCA's in and record...ANY help would be apprieciated.
And if this is NOT possible, with the equipment i have please let me know...lol

First of all, if you really only have a "CD" burner, you won't be able to burn a DVD to watch on your DVD Player. You would need a "DVD" Burner, which you might have since most new computers have them these days. But you will have to check that first.
Another poster suggested using Windows Movie Maker, which probably will work pretty well. What I have used before is a program called dvdSanta. You pretty much choose the video file on your computer and it will burn it into a DVD.

How did my videos disappear from my zune?
i put about 46 videos (23 episodes of metalocalypse split into two parts each, so the videos were about 5-6 minutes each) on my zune. this process took about 2 hours for the zune program to sync them all, so that night i watched the first two videos. the next day i watched a few more videos, but now, about two weeks later, i click the video section and it says "no items found," so i have to put them all back on there.

YouTube videos don't work?
About a month ago, whenever I watch a certain youtube video, it tells me that my JavaScript is turned off or my flash player is too old and not updated and that i should download the new one.
my javascript IS turned on and i DO HAVE the newest flash.
i tried downloading firefox and using that but it was the same problem. I downloaded some codec thing someone told me to download and it didnt help.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled flash but it didnt work.
and its not because of anti-virus or pop-up blocker.
and the weird thing is that, this is only occuring for certain youtube videos. some videos i can watch, some i can't. i can watch everything on google and other sites, just youtube, i cant watch certain videos..
by the way, i have a windows xp, dsl internet connect, firefox and explorer....

and the weird thing is that, this is only occuring for certain youtube videos. some videos i can watch, some i can't. i can watch everything on google and other sites, just youtube, i cant watch certain videos..
by the way, i have a windows xp, dsl internet connect, firefox and explorer....

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.
Or you could watch it offline.. try using 'zillatube' .

Free Videos for Ipod Video?
How can I have videos from pages such as metacafe.com?
I already downloaded a program that converts videos from YouTube to my Ipod, and I like it, but I would like to have another program that converts videos from a lot of other pages. Any help??!

Where can I find videos (in DVD format) featuring true hermaphrodites?
Back in the day, you used to be able to find a wide selection of adult videos featuring true hermaphrodites (I even had a few of them myself), but sadly my VHS player finally died on me the other day.
Now I find myself in the process of upgrading my adult video collection to DVD, but I can't seem to find any videos of true hermaphrodites. I have found plenty of videos that claim to feature hermaphrodites, but they all seem to be either women wearing strap-ons or transsexuals who have cut a fake slit behind their unit.
Does anyone know where I can find some videos with true hermaphrodites, or if they even still make those kind of videos anymore?

Why won't my MySpace videos remain on MySpace?
Everytime I upload a new video on my MySpace, the video shows up on MY VIDEOS section on my profile, but then a day later, I check my videos section and itz gone. This happens to every video I upload. Whats also wierd is that whenever I try to delete a video from my MySpace Videos, it never deletes, it just stays there. Can anyone help me???

It really depends on what site your using to put videos on your myspace. I have not had problems with You tube Videos. Other sites have given me problems before such as Bolt.com so I only use You tube now. Since you didn't say what site you got your videos from I really can't give anymore of an answer. Sorry

Reply:idk, i gave up putting videos on my myspace because once i put a video in the about me section, but i decided i wanted it off, and i deleted what i thought was it....my profile looked exactly the same. so i deleted something else. nope, exactly the same. i went and looked at the code on the page i got it from. it was NO WHERE on my page, but the video was still there. i deleted everything from the about me section, the video was still there, listed in the about me section. i forget how i finally got it off, but now if i am going to post a video, i link it from somewhere else.
it is possible that someone does know your password so change it. i change mine once a month to prevent people getting into it. if that doesnt work, then myspace has an issue they need to solve.

Music Videos?
Any reason why certain female singers ie Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez etc do not wear their wedding rings in their music videos when they have gone all out to showcase their weddings in celebrity magazine shoots so we all know just how much it cost and how in love they are? There are exception to this and the most recent one is Avril Lavigne in her new video 'Girlfriend', she is wearing her wedding ring quite happily in the video, perhaps she is still in the 'honeymoon' period of her marriage and she will soon ditch the wedding ring too for subsequent videos.

i noticed it a couple of times acually, on t.v., and in pictures of the concert my sister and her friends went to right up close second row, and in the pics, theres her ring. madonna on the other hand is a real snot, i think she dont wear it at all only when award shows are happening, her marraige to guy richie aint the greatest, and gwen stefani, she always dose collaberations with other artists, so she has to maintain her puplic appearence when it comes to music, but other then that she'll wear the ring when its nessesary, plus her and gavin arnt together much?
avril is still young and shes proud to be married for the first time, so shes gonna sport it right, but wait, when her and derek dont work out, the next ring, we might not see much lol.
thats my opinion on the whole thing soo. i hope this helped any lol

Reply:probably because their stylist didnt think it looked good with their outfit. if the celebrity doesnt mind taking it off, then the stylist probably treats it just like any other accessory and if it doesnt work with the look they want then it's taken off. they're very detailed with stuff like that, especially in music videos where the camera catches everything and magnifies it for the screen so i'm sure a wedding ring is no exception.
music videos tend to last longer than celebrity marraiges anyway and years from now they dont want to look back at old videos and be reminded of their divorce, or having to lose that ring which is probably big enough to blind you and worth millions.
they might be afraid they'll lose it or that it will get damaged between all the craziness that goes on while shooting those videos. plus with all the people around them, and mostly strangers that are paid pennies compared to the celebrity's salary, it could easily be stolen. i'd leave my millions of dollar rock at home too in that case!
they may be having problems in the marraige and they know their spouse, exes, fans, etc. will see the video of them not wearing the ring which is kind of a pay back because they'll already look hot, but single too.
