Ipod: Can you get music videos to automatically play along with song (without going to video section)?

I have a 80 GB Ipod classic. I have purchased music videos through iTunes, and when i go to the video section on my ipod i can get them to play. but when choosing these songs in the music section, it just plays the audio without the video.

basically, is there anyway to get the video that accompanys a song to automatically play when you choose it, or do you have to go to the video section and choose it there if u want to see the video.

thanks in advance

iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here

Also, here is the step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod video. It works great.

Yahoo Video for news or music does not work. Why won't the videos start in WinXP?

When I click a news article that links to a video in Yahoo, that pop up windows starts, loads related videos, but the video never starts. It used to work, but then stopped. Someone at AT%26amp;T said the issue is with the registry for Internet Explorer. Since everything else with IE seems to work fine, I don't want to unistall and reinstall. I did uninstall IE7, then reinstalled it. I did not do a COMPLETE uninstall of the entire IE program. Is there something I can check to get this working? It does not seem to be a pop up blocker issue.

Same problem and I'm finding no answers. Why don't Yahoo techies monitor these areas

After searching the web I saw that there might be issues with Adobe's Flash Player. I uninstalled everything from Adobe and re-installed. Re-start your computer after

Playing videos on the ps3?

I have downloaded the videora ps3 converted and succesfully converted the videos. I then transfer the videos to a flash card and put it in the ps3. The ps3 will be able to find a flash card in the video screen but then it says there are no files on it. How do i succesfully get my videos on the computer to play on the ps3?

Playing videos on the ps3?
first of all the videos have to be in mpeg also you might have to create folder on on your flash card and name the folder video and it must be in all capitals do not use videora it sucks

use WinAVI 3GP/MP4/PSP/iPod Converter i bought it on ebay as a download i only paid about 5.00 with this profrag im able to to convert files into mpeg and watch on the ps3
Reply:*sigh*

All your videos don't need to be mpeg. The PS3 supports several other file types.. including DivX and sometimes Xvid apparently... you just need to have the newest PS3 software update. Report It

Reply:What file type are the orginal files and what are you converting them to? (Can answer via e-mail or adding to your question).

FYI, the PS3 is able to play alot of video files types including DivX. I am unsure if wether or not it's coming via a CD in the drive or a flash card makes any difference. I read one sight about this Videora PS3 converter and it listed the types of files your might have that it can convert to "PS3 readable"... but in actually I think the PS3 was able to already read half the files it listed.. which is rather bogus advertising I'd say. The program itself may be a rip off... though I can't say for sure.

Also, to play certain PS3 compatible video files you need to make sure you have the latest software/firmware update for the PS3. If you haven't connected to the net and updated ever, I'd suggest looking into it. See the following link for a list of newer support file types and some instruction on how to get some to work....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation...

The PS3 does support Mpeg4, but there are certainly other format options available. You certainly do not need to convert to a lower quality "Ipod compatible" format, because that'll likely be alot less quality. The PS3 has much more powerful hardware capabilities and software support... so it can play higher quality video files. The only limitation you might have is the size file you can fit on the flash card.

--- Addendum ------------

I can't even fine the PS3 version on the Videora website. I also stand corrected, the other software I found was not Videora, but something similar I guess, found here...http://www.redkawa.com/videoconverters/p...

The software that page shows is a total rip off, because every "computer file" they list is actually supported by the PS3 already.. no conversion needed. Although I think it's free.. so it's not so much a rip off as a waste of time. Videora does have a PSP converter, but the PSP is obviously a small, less powerful, portable device that would need files converted to a smaller more compressed format, like an ipod video would. But yeah.. do tell the file types of the original files and then I can be sure if A) you don't need to convert the files at all or B) what files you should be converting them into.

Also note, if they are wmv files then (as my first link will show you) there's a setting that needs to be manualy turned on, to get the PS3 to read those.
Reply:The video files must be in a directory VIDEO on your flash card by default. If they aren't you need to press the triangle while on the CompactFlash icon, and select Display All.
Reply:im trying to do the same thing bro i think they have to be mpg4

or mpeg-4

or something

like the ipod format

anyway im trying to use ps3 video 9

if you get yours to work please tell me how you did it

Depending on the format (that the camera generates). Microsoft Movie Maker could convert it. It's a part of Windows. The newest version for Windows XP is version 5.1, I think.

My videos end after 4:56?

I try playing my videos, and all my videos stop at 4:56 and the related videos come up as if the video has ended... WTF? I have made no changes to my settings since they last worked 24 hours ago...

My videos end after 4:56?
probably network traffic is high, or something..

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.

Maybe your firewall got modified or something, check all your security settings.
